After almost 10 years of what numerous gamers proclaim has been the “greatest 3rd Person Shooter of all-time”, Sony has announced that the previous generations of the SOCOM servers will close on August 31, 2012. (PS2, PS3, PSP, PSP console, Socom 2:US Navy Seals, SOCOM 3: U.S. Navy SEALs, Socom: Combined Assault, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo, SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 2, Socom: US Navy Seals, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Sony PlayStation 2)

they wont shut it down they said that last year as long as people play then sony and zipper will keep the server

Ace your wrong. Show me where sony said they were gonna shut servers down list ur sources. Excatly. Its confirmed by sony on their twitter. U guys have pro-c atleast

They're not going to shut down the servers even if they are losing money as long as people play the servers will stay up on a daily basis around 150 people play at least on all 3 games (combined).

did you play the game last year did you play it in 09 or in 10?
no probably not
they did this three times each year to scare people into quitting and plus i don't really care its a game move on... its not benifiting anyone to dwell on a game thats ruelled by hackers.

Stfu ace like seriously. I've been playing since 08 and move on in life than playing a dieing game. And yes their shutting it down. Look at Mohh2/1 they shut it down and their were people playing it. So hut the fudge up and stop crying and deal with life

and mohh 2 the reason they shut that stuff down because they found an exploit that deleated there accounts from online and people would have to make a new account... so big deal if they shut it down and what was your name in 08? if you did play -_-
